I checked the route on the screen (with the plan selector) before departure and while it looked like an unconventional approach for EGLL 27R, it seemed that the route would bring me nicely lined up for an ILS approach. Last night I flew EIDW to EGLL and selected a Biggin Hill-area STAR from the list of STARs offered on the FMS. I then use simroutes to search for a filed route between the two airports I am flying. My query is around how people generally plan their flight routes since I have been having some issues navigation-wise.įollowing some tips on these pages, I use the fuelplanner website to generate a working loadsheet…this helped me get over the “unable crz altitude” error messages I had been suffering from. I am still on the learning curve of the T777. ![]()
